Getting Started
Installation
To install the modified SL client, just download the latest build from the download page and unzip the file in your preferred location in your PC. Then simply launch the “SecondLife.exe” at the root of the directory - a 1-click installer is coming soon ;).
Using the software
Once you have logged into SL, simply open Edit>Preferences pane. Navigate to the “webcam” tab, and click “Enable webcam” then “OK”. The viewer is now capturing your face motions. See below for a demo.
Getting good results
The software, as still in beta stage, is very sensitive to proper light exposure and framing.
Here is an example of a proper use:
